Each of these petrified feathery friends is a weirdly imagined, painstakingly hand-crafted creation, based on sourced and self-shot photographs and observation of birds’ behaviours in their home environments.
No AI here; just classic photo manipulation and well-practised wielding of the brush. The artist, Tim Bo, has commissioned a limited edition of signed and numbered high-resolution prints on premium satin photo paper in A4 – aptly titled the Voëlklip Series.
A set is on display at Bird Rock Cottage.
